Great news Sprint Nextel customers! I heard from a Sprint representative that we our getting our very own version of the Blackberry Storm as soon as first quarter 2009. The new Blackberry 9030 is supposed to be nicknamed Niagara. I am a phone freak so I was excited to hear that I can get a new phone soon! 



After doing my own research, I heard AT&T is already working on a another variant of the Bold, the 9900 Pluto, for second quarter 2009. It's rumored to be a touchscreen version of the Bold with a physical QWERTY. Sounds hot! I just hope Sprint is right behind them because I'm sick of not having the newest gadgets first!

Sprint Nextel also recently announced a new $50 per month unlimited voice and data plan under its Boost prepaid brand. This means no one/two year contract people! It's too bad analysts expect to see Sprint as a bankruptcy candidate in the next couple of years so who knows what will really happen.
